| Luke 10:25-28 talks about Eternal Life. John 17:3 tells us that eternal life is a relationship with Jesus. 1 John 2:3-6 tells us that to know God, we must obey him. If we don’t we are liars and the truth, which is Jesus (John 14:6) is not in us. |
| Before Jesus sent out his disciples to do work in Luke 10:1, he told them to count the cost of following him (Luke 9:57-62). Following Jesus essentially means to do what he tells us. The motivation for us to do it is because we love him (John 14:15). So we are to love and obey Jesus. |
